Navigating the seemingly illusive world of startups is no linear path. Far too often, the opportunities that exist to engage with our community are difficult to identify. It’s as much about just-in-time serendipity, as it is about walking through the ever-evolving web of connections needed to help ideas flourish.
“What is a startup? How is it different to an SME? Where do I go to find out more? Who else is navigating through this industry challenge? What events exist for me? How can I find an investor?” We’ve heard all of these questions, and more.
So, in celebration of Global Entrepreneurship Week, we’re shining the light on a multi-day entree of opportunity. Set amongst the backdrop of Adelaide - Designed for Life, “STARTUP WEEK” will provide a taster of what’s to come in the frenzy of _SOUTHSTART’s Mad March festival program.
A combination of conversations, masterclasses, dinners, hikes and more, will inspire, provoke debate and shine a light on the future of technology, collaboration and innovation in Adelaide. It'll be thoughtful, engaging and most importantly, human.
Join us as we celebrate our local community of business builders, investors, industry leaders & those working on creating a better future.
You may have noticed that this doesn’t look like your typical website page. That’s because (in true startup style), this is a “view” of a living and breathing portal, built with the collaborative energy of our partners.
Our overarching goal is to help showcase the vibrancy of our local startup community, and support those who put the time & energy into hosting events (during this week, and beyond).
The startup c is made up of a whole host of other wonderful partners, programs, voices and supporters that are not (YET) reflected in this agenda. And there are a host of knowledge, connection & conversational pathways waiting to be explored. We’re all busy people, working on our own respective timelines and businesses (in our case, we’re in the midst of planning a festival!) - but the reality is, collaboration is key to everyone’s path to growth.
